WEB to PUNCH converts Wayne Stahnke's WEB files to PUNCH MIDI format.
Current version 1.02, 7 December 2008. WEBTOPUNCH.ZIP
An offset of 15 translates WEB file port assignments for standard roll types to their correct register in the MIDI file. For other non-standard roll types this offset may differ.
There are two MIDI standards is use by perforators: 1 and 24 MIDI ticks per punch row.
Preset values allow the file to be edited in Cakewalk without distorting the timings.
The roll tempo may be entered here.
WEB files store theme pairs in a single track, whereas MIDI files tend to use a pair of adjacent notes. Select this option to ensure that theme pairs are duplicated in adjacent notes, but only where themes are used, otherwise it is liable to merge adjacent notes.
