MAP Widen

MAP Widen adds 16 white pixels to both left and right margins of MAP image files, increasing the image width by 32 pixels, so ensuring that there will always be white margins if the roll occasionally brushes against the edge of the scanned area.

Operation

Drop MAP file(s) into the program window or select one using the Open dialog.

Keep original filename

With this option deselected, the widened output file will be created with _W appended to the input filename and the input file will be retained.

With this option selected, the input file will be renamed with the .BAK.MAP extension and the widened output file will inherit the input filename.
