FILEMIRROR scrambles and unscrambles files to outwit overzealous email virus protection. Files are obfuscated at the sending end by mirror imaging every byte, with a second pass at the receiving end reversing the process to restore the original file.
The program is intended for use mainly with .EXE and .ZIP files and their scrambled counterparts (with file extensions such as .XEX and .PIZ). The output file is assigned a temporary .$$$ file extension which is then renamed manually.
