CIS Reclock

CIS-RECLOCK converts a Type 2 (or 3) Encoder clocked file into a Type 4 Stepper scanner format file, by dropping or duplicating lines to ensure a constant number of scan lines between each encoder clock. This irons out any variations in vertical scale due to acceleration or other irregularities in roll speed during scanning, while at the same time matching the vertical scale to the horizontal scale, so that holes appear more nearly round in the viewer.

Operation

Drop a CIS file into the window and it will recommend an Output Scale that matches the vertical scale most closely to the horizontal scale. Change this if you wish then hit Save to generate the output file.
