SLIMBRIDGE GARDENING CLUB
75th Anniversary Party 1942 - 2017 - Saturday 8th July

A word from our Chairman , Carole Jeffes

On a lovely Saturday afternoon in July Slimbridge Gardening Club members old and new came together to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Club. Memories were shared as the film entitled "Growing for Showing" featuring past Club members was shown. This was followed by a delicious tea and anniversary cake. Then our President George Tarr concluded the celebrations by planting a commemorative rose in the grounds of the Village Hall.

Thank you to everyone who attended the party and to all the people who helped to make it such a very special occasion.
